We collaborated with one of North America’s most renowned sport specific yoga instructors, Cindy (Carlyle) Deugo, to create a yoga class that specifically addresses the physical needs of serious hockey players. During their ColdRush Hockey Yoga practices, players will perfect alignment, refine core balance, and deeply stretch the full body, with extra time and attention given to the body parts that are overused in the game of hockey;
To help prevent injuries from the hard hits that hockey delivers, Cindy works with the athletes to increase range of motion and stability. Through their yoga practice, players will discover and work to remove their own internal blocks. The benefit of this will be most apparent next hockey season when the skaters will realize they’ve increased agility on both sides of their body.
The 75-minute weekly yoga classes create freedom of movement which will enable the players to do more with the bodies they were born with!
Cindy is a highly accomplished multi-sport International Athlete who approaches yoga as a tool to enhance athletic ability.
Hockey yoga is SO IMPORTANT that we are offering this class
at a rate far less than you would pay if you went to a traditional yoga studio!
